Welcome, Library Lovers!

Freedom to Read Nevada has a new site and a refocused mission. If you’re a Nevada resident and want to join our efforts to defend our school and public libraries, take the pledge to support the freedom to read. While you’re there, you can also become a member by sharing your email and therefore receive updates from us.

In addition to sending out updates to members, we’ll keep our events page active. Our first members meeting will be on Sunday, February 16, at 2:30pm at the Sparks Library. We’ll be screening the documentary Free for All: Inside the Public Library, introduce you to the steering committee, and talk about our strategy for the upcoming library board of trustees meeting. Come for the free snacks, stay for the resistance!

We’ll have a resources page launching soon. In the meantime, you can reach us at info@FreedomToReadNevada.org.

In solidarity,

Freedom to Read Nevada Steering Committee
