Freedom to Read Nevada

Hello to our wonderful FtR-NV members!

We wanted to remind you that if you missed our first screening for the documentary Free for All: Inside the Public Library, we’re doing a second screening and conversation tomorrow, Saturday, March 29, at the Sierra View Library (Reno Town Mall). Doors open at 1:15; the screening will start at 1:30. We’ll also have coffee from Chrome Coffee Works and goodies from Beloved’s Bread and Sprouts. Come for the free snacks, stay for the resistance!

As always, if you haven’t, we also encourage you to join our efforts to defend our school and public libraries by taking the pledge to support the freedom to read.

We’re also hard at work at the legislature this year, so if you’re interested in helping out, be sure to follow us on Instagram, where we’re talking about our anti-book banning bill, AB 416.
