Save the Dates!

Freedom to Read and the Radical Cat are co-hosting three free screenings of the brand-new PBS documentary The Librarians, which follows a courageous network of besieged librarians as they unite to examine how book restriction policies are shaping library collections. Join us Sunday, February 1st at 2 PM at the Downtown Library (301 Center St) and Saturday, February 21st at 2 PM at the Sparks Library (1125 12th Street).

There will also be a third showing that will be co-hosted by Rad Cat, Freedom to read, KUNR and the UNR library on Feb. 24th at 6:00 at the Wells Fargo Auditorium in the UNR Knowledge Center. All screenings are free and open to all. Discussion with advocates and librarians will follow screenings. Come learn more and get involved!

Please spread the word about these showings in your networks, and feel free to share or post the flier image from the top of this email.
